Quick Q&A with Ahmed Koraiem

Could you start by introducing yourself and your current role at Welltech?

My name is Ahmed, I have 12+ years in data and analytics. I’m head of marketing analytics at Welltech, where I lead 3 different analytics teams to support our user acquisition and growth functions with end-to-end analytics solutions (measurement, attribution, reporting, insights, and automation).

Why did you choose to participate in this summit?

I believe in sharing back with the community and also learning from what everyone else is doing to solve our common challenges in the industry.

Ethical data collection is a growing focus. What practical steps can brands take to ensure consent strategies are transparent and user-centric across digital channels?

  • Develop easy-to-understand and clearly worded consent banners, privacy policies, etc. Not only will you gain the customer’s trust, but also increase your consent rate
  • Work with your legal team, show them that you really care about compliance and using data for the customer’s benefit, and they will help you work with the data you need in the right way
  • Unify your approach across platforms and channels, generalise the rules, and apply them across the board to reduce the possibility of error and reduce complexity for everyone involved (engineering, design, legal, marketing, data)

What is one analytics tool, method, or privacy-enhancing technology that you find especially useful in your work right now?

Server-side tracking is actually significantly safer, more secure, and offers better customer experience than client-side tracking. All while helping you maintain your compliance standards across the board.

What advice would you give to companies that are still early in their data compliance and ethics journey, especially those navigating European regulations?

Hire an expert DPO, explain your business to them, and they’ll help you set your priorities and make sure you’re doing things the right way.

Looking ahead to 2026, can you share one personal or professional goal you’d like to achieve?

Cross US $2 Billion in lifetime ad spend.

Ahmed’s hands-on approach to marketing analytics and privacy compliance offers a valuable roadmap for businesses navigating the next wave of European regulations. From server-side tracking to transparent consent practices and cross-platform consistency, his insights reflect the balance between customer-first strategies and regulatory rigour. As organisations strive to future-proof their data strategies in a cookieless, AI-regulated world, leaders like Ahmed are showing how to turn compliance into an opportunity for better user experience. We look forward to his perspective at Data Demystified Summit Berlin 2026.
